Dr. Vinod Rao said that the Dhanvantari Raths, which were started in July, completed the first 100 days of operation on Friday so that people could get health services close to home and get quick treatment, especially in cases of cold, cough, fever and phlegm. During which more than 5 lakh people availed its health services. The last 10 days have seen a decrease in the number of corona patients in all the hospitals following 6 months of intensive and strategic health operations.
He said a home visit-based health survey was initially launched to find out the suspected patients and start treatment immediately. This was done covering the entire urban area during the first seven rounds. He then implemented a policy of intensive home survey in the last 3 rounds to make this strategy more effective and targeted in the areas where the risk of corona is high. A total of 10 rounds of surveys were completed on Friday.
